About the role
We are looking for a Head of People to lead our People function. In this role, you will oversee all aspects of people management across the organization. You will ensure our people management practices are efficient, compliant, and supportive of our mission. Balancing strategic leadership with hands-on execution, you will develop and refine practices that promote an outstanding employee experience across our 6 locations, together with our Senior People Operations Specialist.
You will report directly to the CEO and be part of the leadership team. For the time being, the whole leadership team is participating in a 4-day workweek pilot with Fridays off.
Key Responsibilities
Managing and developing the employment lifecycle practices
Managing Talent Acquisition processes from start to finish
Overseeing onboarding & offboarding
Developing practices for performance management
Reward systems & salary reviews
Career progression & succession planning
Training & development initiatives
Manager enablement and training
High-level strategic planning of the people management practices
Leading the People team
Compliance in employee-related matters in Finland, the Netherlands, Romania, UK, USA and Canada
ESG & Facilities management
Required Skills & Experience
5 years of experience in senior HR or People leadership roles, ideally in multi-location environments.
Strong generalist people management knowledge across recruitment, employee relations, benefits, compliance, and organizational development as well as understanding of how SaaS companies operate to ensure strategic alignment between our business and people management practices.
Ability to challenge senior leaders to find the best possible outcomes for each situation.
Deep understanding of employment law and best practices in people management.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g. HiBob).
Passionate about building a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture.
Comfortable operating at both a strategic and hands-on level.
Experience with ESG policies and InfoSec in relation to HR practices is a strong plus.
