About the role
We're hiring a Senior Product Designer to help raise the bar on product quality across Happeo. This is a hands-on IC role where you'll work closely with PMs and engineers on complex, evolving problem spaces – designing experiences that make company knowledge easy to find and genuinely useful.

We’re especially interested in designers who are AI-native in how they work: using modern tools and workflows to speed up thinking, prototyping, and iteration, and to create tighter collaboration between design, product, and engineering.

What you’ll do

• Design end-to-end product experiences as part of a cross-functional squad

• Work across areas like Knowledge, Comms, Workflows and Integrations

• Partner closely with PMs and engineers to explore problems deeply and ship quality work

• Bring strong product thinking, systems awareness, and solid craft to everything you touch

• Use AI as a normal part of your design workflow

What we’re looking for

• Senior-level experience designing SaaS products in a startup or scale-up environment

• Strong product and systems thinking – you see how pieces connect

• High-quality visual and interaction design skills

• Clear communication and a collaborative approach with engineers

• Comfort with ambiguity: you thrive without heavy hand-holding

• Fluency with AI tools (this is expected, not optional)

Location
This is a remote role. We're primarily hiring in South Africa for this position. Employment is offered through an Employer of Record or on a contractor basis.
